The MG Dynagrip Golf Glove is a hidden gem I found on Amazon. If you’re looking for a long-lasting, reasonably priced golf glove, look no further than the MG Dynagrip Golf Glove.
At the time of this review, I’ve been through 2 of these gloves and have recently broken out a new one. I also ordered the MG Dynagrip Elite for $1 more and am currently testing/reviewing that one. Stay tuned!
When I was thinking about switching gloves, I used this Callaway Apex Tour Glove, which was OK for me at the time. I didn’t really have any other frame of reference except the 2 pack of FootJoy WeatherSof’s, which is the glove I used when I first started playing. The Callaway Apex Tour gloves are softer and tackier than the FootJoy Weathersof’s. They feel like a more high-quality glove. My concern with the Callaway Apex Tour gloves was that I was using a glove every month! Maybe that’s because it was Summer and my hands were always sweaty, I hadn’t learned the value of having a few backups of the same glove, or whatever else it may have been, but I remember thinking to myself ‘surely I’m not supposed to be burning through this many gloves!’ And at close to $20 per glove, that’s when I decided to look for alternative solutions and came across these MG gloves.
I was browsing that forum and I don’t remember what overrated item this user picked, but their under-rated item was the MG golf glove. There had to have been 10-20 comment replies agreeing with that original poster about his selection. So I googled it and was baffled when I saw they were LESS THAN $10 EACH!!! I thought to myself ‘I should get two of these because one won’t last very long’. I purchased two of the MG Dynagrip gloves to try them out. During this time, I’d been doing some research on golf gloves and glove care and decided it was best to keep a couple of gloves to rotate through, so one pair didn’t get worn out so quickly.
The gloves came in an unassuming white envelope and were delivered within the week. When I opened the envelope, there were two, branded, thin, plastic envelopes that the gloves were shipped in.

The Cabretta leather is soft to the touch and looks very similar to other gloves I’ve felt/used. The gloves are bright white and look really good. They fit my hands snugly and stretched to a perfect fit after the first few times I wore them. One of the common points made about these gloves in reviews is the excessive amount of fabric at the tips of the fingers. I did not find this to be true when I first put them on. In my opinion, there was no more or less fabric at the tips of the fingers than any other glove in that size, but perhaps it was more of a quality control issue in that batch? I did notice they started to stretch a little bit as I wore them, and some extra space in the fingers did appear. I attribute that to the way I remove my glove after every shot (by gently pulling on each finger), and not poor workmanship.
A golf glove should fit snugly but not constrict movement and circulation in the hand. When I started playing golf, I wore an XL glove. I quickly found this to be too big and switched to a large glove. The large gloves fit well for the first couple of rounds, but then became stretched and too big by the third round. So I down-sized again and currently wear an ML size.

The ML size of the MG Dynagrip is perfect for me. It’s a very snug fit at first, but does not feel like the circulation in my hand is being cut off. I feel confident when gripping the club. The glove feels like a stickier extension of my own skin. Where sizing is concerned, MG gloves run true-to-size and fit similarly to others I’ve tested.

I was still wary of the longevity of these gloves, being so inexpensive. I ordered my first two on August 6th, 2019 and played about 40 rounds with them, trying to alternate usage between the two of them. I would also estimate a similar number, maybe more, for driving range sessions. I just ordered my replacements on Jan 2, 2020. I got my money’s worth out of these things! I can confidently say these gloves have lasted longer than any other gloves I’ve worn.

Bringing it together
The MG Dynagrip Golf Glove is a hidden gem I found on Amazon. They’re soft, tacky, look good, feel great, and are a tremendous value. They’re durable and last a long time. I’m excited to try the ‘elite’ version and write a review for that one, next!
